Big I Connecticut Welcomes New Board Leadership and Directors
Big I Connecticut is proud to welcome its newly installed Board of Directors for 2026–2027.
The new board was officially installed during the Big I CT Golf Tournament, bringing together new and returning leaders who generously volunteer their time, experience, and expertise to support our association and Connecticut’s independent insurance community.
Jason Guerrera Named Chair of the Board
We are excited to congratulate Jason Guerrera, CSRM, who has been named Chair of the Big I Connecticut Board of Directors.
Jason previously served as Vice Chair & Secretary/Treasurer and has been a dedicated member of Big I CT’s leadership. We look forward to his continued involvement and leadership as he steps into his new role as Chair.
Dan McNamara, CIC will also take on a new leadership role, moving from Director to Vice Chair & Secretary/Treasurer. We’re grateful to Dan for his continued commitment to Big I CT and look forward to all he will bring to this position.
Recognizing Danielle Brown and Melissa Gatto
As part of the board transition, Danielle Brown moves from Chair to Immediate Past Chair.
We are incredibly grateful to Danielle for her leadership and dedication during her time as Chair. Her commitment to Big I CT and the independent agency community has been greatly appreciated, and we’re fortunate to have her continued involvement and perspective on the Board.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Melissa Gatto, who has completed her service on the Board after most recently serving as Immediate Past Chair.
Melissa has been an important part of Big I CT’s leadership, and we are grateful for the time, energy, and insight she has shared with our association throughout her board service. While she will certainly be missed around the board table, we look forward to continuing to see her as part of the Big I CT community.

Welcoming Two New Directors
We’re also pleased to welcome two new Directors to the Big I Connecticut Board: Lisa Tregoning and Carl Van Doren.
Both Lisa and Carl bring valuable industry experience and perspective to the Board, and we’re excited to have them join our leadership team. We look forward to their contributions as we continue working to champion independent insurance agents and strengthen our industry throughout Connecticut.
Our Board members play an important role in helping guide Big I CT’s mission, representing our members, and ensuring our association continues to provide the resources, relationships, advocacy, and support independent agencies need to thrive.
