About
Jared Carrillo leads the Personal and Small Commercial Lines division at Smith Brothers Insurance, where he is responsible for driving growth, overseeing operations, and shaping the agency’s regional strategy. He also serves as a key liaison to carrier partners, bringing a collaborative approach, innovative thinking, and a strong commitment to delivering value for clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
After graduating from Trinity College, Jared joined and later perpetuated his family’s agency, an experience he credits to the mentors, colleagues, and industry leaders who helped shape both his career and the agency’s success. A dedicated advocate for the independent agency system, he is a former Chairman of Big I Connecticut, serves on several carrier advisory boards, and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Suffield Academy.
