Alane Wilansky is the co-founder of ARK Distillery, a women-owned craft spirits company in Colchester, Connecticut dedicated to producing small-batch vodka, gin, whiskey, and bourbon while giving back to the community. With a professional background in finance and insurance, Alane brings strong operational and business expertise to the distillery, where she plays a key role in managing financial strategy and guiding the company’s growth.
Inspired by a long-standing passion for spirits and a commitment to community impact, Alane helped build ARK—short for Acts of Random Kindness—as a brand rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and philanthropy. From its inception, the distillery has focused on innovation through flavor-infused spirits while supporting local charities and organizations.
Alane’s entrepreneurial journey reflects resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to break into traditionally male-dominated industries. Through her work, she continues to combine business leadership with a passion for creating meaningful experiences and making a positive impact both locally and within the craft spirits community.
