Connecticut Lawmakers are Considering Banning Non-Compete Agreements. Big I CT Has Your Back.

Recently, the CT Legislature's Labor and Public Employes Committee introduced HB.5269, which would ban businesses from using non-compete agreements. This legislation would significantly disrupt independent agencies, and compromise their ability to protect their book of business. Big I CT testified in opposition to this bill, urging lawmakers to include an exception for independent insurance agents.[+]
