About
Jay Long, CIC, is a seasoned insurance professional with decades of experience in commercial insurance, currently serving with Hilb Group New England. A third-generation industry leader, Jay is known for building strong client partnerships and developing tailored insurance programs that address complex business risks. He holds a degree from Nichols College and has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
Jay has been an active leader in the insurance and local community, serving in past roles as a Past President of the Big I CT association and the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, as well as on numerous carrier advisory councils. He currently serves as a Director on our Board of Directors and remains deeply involved in community organizations, including the Putnam Rotary Club, where he was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.
